important to have a warranty on the hp printers. i got a free replacement printer when the original hp 6830 desktop printer went bad.

Most electronics I buy, I will add that extra protection. I just want to feel a bit secured and plus Geek Squad is good.

Worked well when I had to go to them because I was having questions.

Personally, I have not needed to use it as of yet. I always agree with getting insurance policies. In the end, it's always worth it.

This is the second time, that I am disappointed with the geek squad service. I went to the store, after speaking to a member from the geek squad to pick up my new computer. They did not inform me I had to sign up for a number to be serviced. I arrived and waiting around as my representative, ignored me too busy with another customer. It was late in the evening. Another customer walked in and after I had waited for approx. 30 mins on line, he took the customer that had just arrived before me because he had a number and I did not. This was very upsetting, I was not informed of this process and it was getting later. I had my child with me, she was restless, it was a school night, and I expected to have been serviced as I came in because I spoke with the representative, he did not say you will have to wait, or you should take a number so we can service you correctly. When I interupted him to ask him what was happening, he was even ruder than ignorning me. I was even more upset and cancelled my purchase.

I’m using geek squad just in case something happens to my printer, I can have it fix.

The now ubiquitous extended warranty is an unfortunate byproduct of today's manufacturing standards. This was a good deal.

I always buy protection or insurance for everything I buy recommended for sure

They checked my lap top computer and took care of all my problems I love having them taking care of me

there if i need them but have never needed them with the quality of best buy products.

Wish i had this protection for my previous printer. Broke after the 1 year warranty expired. This time i am warranted for 2 years
