I've yet to require any hands on services from Geek Squad, however, I have had to call upon their wisdom a plethora of times.. Whether I'm in store or just give em a call, the squad always makes sure to give me the correct and most up to date advice in a way that is easily understood.

I am new to the protection plan. But so far, the protection plan is great. A friend of mine recommended me to get it and he said he was able to trade his old one in for a brand new one!

I never buy the extended warranty but employee talked about how headsets sometimes fall and break. My son was going to be using it and thought it was worth the money. 1 year later and we got a new headset. It was simple. Had our info on their system. Didn’t need a receipt. Would recommend for headset.

With electronics, it's not a matter of if. It's purely a matter of when your electronic purchase will develop an issue. Geek squad protection is a must. Don't be penny-wise and dollar foolish. Especially when forking out cash for an expensive device, you will regret not having Geek Squad protection.

It’s a dualsense controller for the PS5 and PC. Uh, it’s red. Does that warrant an extra fifteen dollars, ehh probably not. Maybe if it was more rare but they’re readily available.

Better to have and not need it than need it and not have , having the peace of mind that if something breaks I get a replacement is priceless

Got the 2 year warranty, Sony needs to fix the stock drift and they make it difficult even inside your warranty to fix it, Best Buy makes it easy so that’s nice.

When you purchase any electronics, I highly recommend you buy the insurance. I’ve done it for years. They always take care of my products. You never know when you need it.

I purchased a Xbox controller and a warranty two years ago at a store that closed. Recently I needed to use the warranty, had no issue finding receipt and received a new controller!

I always get the service protection plan for my controllers. Once they get stick drift I return it and get a new one for $20. Can’t beat it.

Get insurance to have but next time try to get the theft and lose protection
