    This product was difficult to use. We're all pretty tech savvy in my house and the operation mechanism still just very finicky. Seeing as how my preteen son needed them for school, they did not work out very well.

    I have not use this service yet with the geek squad other than the install service which was not good because I was not advised that there will be no tutorial when I had my my printer installed So I had to install my printer myself and learn how to use it and how to hook it up

    After a month "in transit " , my PC IS MISSED BY THE WAREHOUSE. IF I KNEW. I WON'T BY MY PC WITH BEST BUYS REGARDLESS THE "PAYMENT CONDITIONS/CREDIT CARD ". I PAY FOR AN ITEM THAT IS NOT ON MY POSSESSION. IT IS NOT RIGHT.

    Made appt to drop off warranted laptop for repair. 2-3 weeks later, told its in not repairable, going to replace with a new device. Met by unprofessional, hostile workers who passed me off to at least 4 other people. Finally speak to the final guy at GS. He was extremely rude & patronizing. He had already took it upon himself to “refund” money back on a gift card since he does not have my device in stock. I informed him, I’d really like the same device. Can we call his other stores? I’d gladly drive out there? He says absolutely not, I’ve already put it on a card and you can just upgrade. - Rivergate - Goodlettsville

    Make sure you read the fine print. Most repairs are sent out and require 4 to 6 weeks to get results. The staff act as if they are experts on equipment but really just talk a good game.

    I did not purchase geek squad and am now being told I have it??? It sure to be happy or sad knowing I had issues I had to pay for.

    Doesn't replace the TV if you have an issue

    This is a wast protection for the TV. We can basically get the TV assembled and installed ourselves. If your TV has any problem this protection plan just allows you to drop off your TV at a Best Buy but doesn't instantly replaces it with another TV unlike all other protection plans. This plan requires to send the TV to manufacturing facility of the provider and gets it repaired which can usually take about 6-8 weeks. Until that time you will not have a TV :(

    Handled ver poorly by the BestBuy at which I purchased the item. My item was defective and should have been refunded in full with the price of the insurance, but not only did they choose to "use the insurance" thus not refunding it, my item balance was issued to a BestBuy card instead of either cash or my Best Buy Rewards Card. First time in all my years of dealing with BestBuy that a return was handled so poorly and my money taken so brazenly.

    Geek squad is only good for replacement. Their service/ repair sucks. I only purchase Geek squad when I am gifting. Never for myself

    We didn’t use this and honestly, I don’t think you will need this because the Skullcandy earphones we got has a 2 yr warranty.

    My cell phone screen developed a crack; I've been waiting at this store for 2 hours and am no closer to getting the express replacement executed from the insurance I bought here with my phone. Terrible customer service; understaffed, harried employees with no power to deal with even the most ordinary problems. Buying insurance through Best Buy it's throwing your money away.

    Do not buy protection replacement plan for Samsung headphones. It is a complete waste of money. If you lose one, they won’t replace it. Completely useless. Sales should worried more about customer satisfaction than hitting his quota to sign up people for a plan that does nothing for the product purchased.

    The repair process takes far to long. It can take up to 4 to 6 weeks before your item is returned.
