This is my third smartwatch. I have had the Fossil Explorist Gen 5 and 6, both were solid watches but felt more like a watch that had some special features tacked on. This Galaxy watch feels like a piece of tech that happens to have a watch included! I love it. It looks sleek, fits well and the screen is very impressive. If you own a Samsung phone this is the perfect companion piece

Only needed it twice over the many years and buy, but the peace of mind it gives is great. The two times I had an issue the exchange process was so easy!

I threw this on a Samsung Galaxy Ring purchase because I had doubts. Turns out I was right. The battery on it died in six months. It was super easy to get my money back, but it was store credit. There's no way to repair the ring and I decided I didn't want to risk another failure, so all I could get was credit to a store I don't normally shop at. Better than a piece of worthless e-waste, but not what I really envisioned. Read the terms and make sure you know what you are and aren't getting for whatever you cover.

Back when I bought my first Flat screen, a 50" 3D Plasma for somewhere around $1000, I thought it might be a good idea. It was a 5 year plan. I am so glad I did. About 3 years after purchasing the TV, a column of pixels in the center of the screen went black. I called Geek Squad and they sent a tech out to check it out and they determined the TV needed to be replaced. That model was no longer available but Best Buy gave me the full purchase price toward my new 55" UHD 3D TV. Ever since then I always buy extra protection on electronics over a certain price.

Shipping was quick and well packaged inside. It was a bit difficult to unwrap which means it was wrapped excellent!

Protection Plans are great to have. You might not have to use it, but if your insured purchase breaks after the manufacturers warranty expires then you are still covered.

I had a Samsung galaxy 4 watch and after a year and a half of use the screen stopped working properly (just a bunch of lines). Since they couldn't get the serial number from the watch, as it is located in the settings on the screen, they gave me store credit for the watch. I used that towards the galxay 5 and bought the protection plan again. It's nice to have a company that will stand behind their 2 year warranty. Thank You Best Buy

Geek squad warranty is worth it for items that lack durability (mobile devices and headsets).

when buying a new product its always a good idea to buy an insurance, i like best buy insurance because its so simple to use it.

No matter what product I purchase from Best Buy, I get the Geek squad protection. Aside from getting your money back, they will replace anything no matter what. Even if you just don't like it anymore. They will credit you the amount of the item and prorate your plan for what you haven't used and credit you that amount too. Just read the fine print so you know exactly what is covered and what is not. Some stores will make you exchange same day for a similar product, but most stores are able to give you store credit of you choose to return an item within the 2 years. Always a good investment if you, like me, change your mind frequently and also like to have the newest tech. The protection plans have yet to fail me, they are a must with any tech purchase!!
