    Open box excellent, what i got was just the watch thrown in a big box nothing else, no orginal packaging, no power cord ..Definitely not as advertised i went to the store basicly was told i got a good deal and refused to give me the charge cord that it should of come with, one manger was great and did try the other well not so great...you are taking a chance with open box and their badicly false advertising

    I purchased the plan for my Samsung Gear 3 Classic smart watch back in August '17. In January '18 after an update the watch would not charge. I tried resetting it several times to factory reset both within the watch setting and by holding down the power button. I go back to Best Buy and Geek Squad says they are not able to service them and that they will provide me with another watch. I'm over joyed and happy because with my frustration of the watch I was glad to hear good news. Then, I should have known it was a catch. Now you have to purchase a new plan for the new watch. Wait, I can see if I did damage to the watch ok possibly but this is after an update that before my watch was working perfectly fine. There isn't anything they can do because it is a defect with Samsung but they are not covering it, I was told. So of course I paid another 79.00 for the new watch, went home and had Verizon activate the watch. Now, moving forward to today the new one is doing the same exact thing as the old one. Will not charge or it will charge to maybe 40% and then quit saying the watch is over heated and must cool down. At times it is hot and at times it's not. Called Geek Squad and now I have to go to Samsung to have them fix the watch. Before you sale someone a warranty be sure to explain to them what the coverage actually cover. Yes, I got another watch and yes that is great if I was not in the same predicament as before and 79.00 in the whole. Never again will I purchase the warranty or continue to shop at Best Buy.

      Hi Chanie - Thank you for your feedback on your Geek Squad Protection plan. We want to be upfront with the coverage on all of our plans, and that’s why we give out a copy by email when purchased, and post them online here: https://goo.gl/UPYKpA. Whenever a product is swapped out under one of our plans, that plan is considered fulfilled and a new plan would be needed to cover the replacement product if wanted. For any product still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, you should have the option to work directly with them on a repair or replacement rather than swapping the product out and fulfilling your Geek Squad Protection plan. I apologize if this wasn’t explained to you, and I hope that you’ll give us another chance in the future.

    I had no trouble exchanging my Fitbit when it started acting up and the rubber started to peel. Well worth the cost.
