The protection plan is great. They were not able to replace, but they credited me to buy another camera.

I would get this on any electronic product, I updated the firmware on a GoPro Hero 4 Silver and it would not respond, I took the camera to Best Buy and with little questions, he told me to go get another one. I went and found out they did not sell the silver anymore, so I was able to get the Hero 5 Black. All I needed to do was to get another protection plan. Well that was a no brainer.

My son dropped his camera from 3 story building while filming.. And it was replaced!

The 2 year accident protection comes in handy if anything happens to it. 2 years is a looooong time. It's always better to be covered. I had to take mine in and they were unbelievably understanding and helped me with everything! Well worth the peace of mind. Traded out a new one since my old one wouldn't work with no questions asked! They are awesome!!

I like this protection plan and usually get it with any recorders and cameras - but especially GoPro Cameras. It's best for that. I also recommend getting the 4 year plan too!

I purchased the geek squad and it’s been a God Send. Always their to help wither you bought the item from Best Buy or not. I had issues with my laptop and they fixed it, I had issues with my cyclone video for my car the got it working, the installed 3 remote car starters and several car stereos. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

To be honest, how do you NOT have a geek squad 2-year protection on any of your devices? Accidents happen and along with Best Buys superior customer service-- you will NOT be disappointed.

My GoPro Max got damaged the first week I used it and thanks to the Geek Squad Service agreement it got replaced. I also got the service agreement on the new one. Well worth the money. If they can't fix it, they'll replace it. It's a beautiful thing.
