I usually buy Geek Squad coverage for items costing over $150 - it has paid off in the past - hopefully I won't need it but you never know.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received for my camera at your store. On May 20, I brought in my camera due to issues connecting to the SnapBridge app. The representative informed me that it needed to be sent off for repair, which would take approximately two weeks. Unfortunately, during this period, there was no communication to update me on the status of my camera. More than three weeks later, I finally received notification that my camera was ready for pickup. However, upon visiting the store, I was informed that there was uncertainty about whether my camera had indeed been repaired. The representative mentioned that the firmware was updated and the camera was cleaned, but I was left wondering if the main issue—the SnapBridge connectivity problem—had been resolved. To my surprise, no attempt had been made to connect the camera to the app during the repair process. Instead, I was hurriedly encouraged to try it myself before the store closed. Unfortunately, my attempts to connect to SnapBridge were unsuccessful. Furthermore, I was given two options: either take the camera to a different professional camera service or send it back for reevaluation, which would add an additional three-plus weeks to the process. As a paying customer, I find it perplexing that an alternative repair option outside of Best Buy was even suggested. I am disappointed that my camera was sent off for repair without addressing the actual issue I reported. I have missed capturing important milestones due to this prolonged inconvenience. Now, I am left waiting to see if my camera can indeed be repaired or if I will need to consider purchasing a new one, especially since my current model has been discontinued.

A must would not buy electronic without it. It is worth it, with the kids can do without it.

Best warranty one can get!! I've had several products go out on me and the geek squad protection has replaced these items no questions asked.

I hike and bike a lot and take my camera with me. One crash and it'll pay for itself. Love the peace of mind...

Best purchase for peace if mind. I know i am covered if something goes bad.

This camera is really great for parties and scrapbooking. The only problem is finding film for it. Unfortunately, best buy doesn't have many of these in stock.

I always add accidental Geek Squad Protection to my purchases. So far I haven't had any trouble with Bestbuy not wanting to honor the protection.
