After purchasing your item with the service you are then able to get it replaced if it breaks or just replace altogether within two years.

I was purchasing 4 xbox series x controllers for HTPC and now don't have to worry if one somehow gets destroyed as it'll get replaced easily. $20 to cover $240+ of equipment for 2 years is fine by me.
