- No out-of-pocket costs for parts or labor: We take care of 100% of the costs of parts and labor for covered repairs and failures, with no hidden fees.
- If your gaming accessory won’t turn on because of a power surge, count on us to make it right: You’re covered if there's a power surge or fluctuation that damages your product. This includes a surge caused by a lightning strike.
- You can transfer your Geek Squad Protection: When you sell or give someone your covered product, Geek Squad Protection is still in effect, with no additional charges or restrictions. Call 1-800-433-5778 (8 a.m.-9 p.m. CT) to transfer.

A: It’s super easy. If you bought the warranty, simply return the controller and they give you a new one. I’ve had to do it twice for controllers. My son is hard on them. I simply swap it out, and ALWAYS pay for the warranty again.
A: They check under your Best buy membership or phone number.
Q: If my dog happens to chew my controller up will it be covered?
A: Basically, so long as you can physically bring the item back in store, even in pieces, they should very well replace it.
Q: Does it have to be the same color controller?
A: No, I exchanged my white controller for the sterling silver one no problem.
