Thankfully I haven’t had to use the service, but I do see that the warranty is still active after almost two full years

Absolutely worth it on items that have long term value for you. Protection plans from Best Buy always come in handy with a straight up replacement most times for the items you have protected. Def recommend on high end items

Great to have a service plan on some purchases. Number of times I've had to return a product after the return policy date and I was able to swap out for a new product or at least get the money back on a gift card.
