no a bad deal on a new game systemm. from now on if my sons game system breaks or has problems all we do is bring it in and a new one is received

Once again, I would not buy anything without the GSP.

The Geek Squad is always good to have and they are very knowledgeable about Best buy products that they sale.

Long story short I purchased a Ps5 4 weeks ago. Was steered into getting the protection plan as the rep advised it covered my device no questions asked. I also saw all of the good reviews about the protection plan. Fast forward to today when my Ps5 stopped working, I couldn’t even turn it on. Took it back to the geek squad confident I was covered and there would be no issues. I get to the store and the rep tells me you would be better off contacting Sony. I asked them what the protection plan was for and they advised me they then could assist but if I went through them it would be a looong time before I got my product back and hey couldn’t tell me a rough estimate. If I’m going to go through Sony what’s the purpose of paying for the protection plan? I ended up getting a refund for my protection plan and contacted Sony. The pool protection plan may work better for others but I don’t see the benefit if I have to go through the manufacture anyway.

I feel like they fix certain things and avoid fixing things unless you pay more even though you have their protection.

The main reason I purchase any product at Best Buy

Well being that its a 2 year protection plan im confortable not worrying about if i might end up having my system ruined and for the price its not bad

I got it with my PS5 but hope I never have to use it. I sleep better at nights knowing I got it though lol

Pricy for protection but as soon as you have a $3,000.00 device fail you realize it’s worth it

I always get a warranty on any electronic device, you just never know and rather have protection

Haven’t had to use them yet. But I lost my power cable. Let’s see how it goes.
