When buying an expensive item, I recommend adding the insurance. I never had to use it before, but you never know when it will come in handy and you need to replace your item for a faulty item and issue happens outside your warranty or accidents that may occur. When I use my Best Buy Cedit Card, I like to add this option to go along with my financing.

this game is indeed fun to play, it's your typical MMORPG game that you just sit back and grind and level up for hours and hours. there is always something to do in that game. there is just about a class for everyone if you prefer to be a supportive healer, beefy tank or a damage dealer (ranged or melee), if you don't like fighting or teaming up with others you can always pick up ur gathering classes and farm all day long as botanist, miner or fisher, there is also your crafting classes that can make your look fabulous and stand out from the crowd. The initial character creation is so-so... but u can always take it a little further by taking a quest that allows you to get highlights or change tattoos on face. I personally like the game because of the group of people i talk to via PS4 and skype (yes i have both pc and ps4 version of FFXIV), if you dont have a group of people already joining in the game with your, you can always meet people online and make friends there. Only thing i would suggest is TRY TO DEAL with the "hand holding" method squarenix has made, it seriously feels like the game is babysitting your for the first main story (story is rather nice btw) but afterwards it starts to get much more fun with the zodiac weapons and upgrading your gear is taking a long time. Not to mention there will be an expansion Heavensward coming. Also this is a MMORG game you will get tired of it if only play this game, so take a break for maybe a week, play something else and then hop back in, again this game is meant to be played with others in order to get full experience of the game, dont expect to get the golden treatment just because you are new, there will be jerks in that game, but nothing compared to the Call of Duty or League of Legend population (rather hard to troll people without others kicking you out of party.) If you are still not sure if you should get PS3, PS4 or PC version you can always take a these few things into consideration. *PS3 version: only have to deal with the FFIXV membership fee, but sacrifice display quality and will have to deal with the lag of loading and possibly missing out on S-Rank hunts ... ... ... but NO PS network fee. No PS4 controller touchpad. *PS4 version: you have to pay the FFXIV membership fee along with the PS4 network fee (take note that PS4 and PS3 network are not same), game quality is nice, the load speed on maps are also rather fast so you can take part of the S-rank hunts. good to play when sitting back on the couch on the big screen. Easy to connect to party chat with other PS4 players. you can connect a wireless keyboard to chat with others here too, and the PS4 controller touchpad is like a mousepad is a nice add on the PS4 FFXIV version. *PC version: by far my favorite version because i don't have deal with the lag or display quality. I have it hooked up to a 4k LED monitor and it works awesome. Load speed for S-ranks are fast and if you have a good graphics card on your pc you get the full display performance of the game. Team chat with others using skype, teamspeak, CELL PHONES or other methods. and if you miss the handheld controller over the keyboard and mouse you can always hook up your PS3, PS4 to it using additional programs only problem with it is the slight lag and need a bluetooth device on your pc, or go get yourself a microsoft wireless controller for Xbox One n PC for $59.99 and most of your lag connection will be gone, if you want a better quality connection you can get the SHIELD controller for same price in order to use it on the PC you have to be wired in (take note that the this may or may not work on future versions of Operating systems so best to play it safe and get the windows supported controllers.) and if the monitor is too small of you are just tired of playing on your chair next to monitor, then run a HDMI cable and connect to ur TV and play it there with your wireless controller. you can always check out the FFXIV website to get yourself a free PC version and try out the game there, but again the 14 day trial will only get you so far unless you are playing it 24/7 to get to end of main story line. and then the game starts getting fun with bosses being much much harder and boss stage music is great. try your PC version with a hooked up PS3 or PS4 controller (ps4 touchpad doesn't work with in game features of PC version) to get an idea of what you will be getting out of it. As for the PS4 network and FFXIV membership fees you may have to check out on their main websites to see if they fit your budget. Hope this helps and happy gaming!
