Geek Squad protection is a must in my decades of experience with Best Buy. You can return items that don’t suit you however, they honor the products you purchase. For big ticket items, get the five year plan. I had a GE dishwasher stop working after four years. Now I have a Bosch, which is fantastic.

The Product Replacement option is an essential "insurance policy" that I get for the more expensive personal technology items, particularly items like "smart watch" and tablets. More than once I have had an item decide to go buggy a couple of years after purchase, and Best Buy has ALWAYS stood behind their replacement program and if the original product is not available, they have courteously extended a credit towards a newer model. This is something that you don't want to "have to use" but just having the product replacement policy on my personal technology devices is worth it for the peace of mind. Not every item needs the extra coverage, but expensive personal technology is too much of a hassle to "send back to the factory and wait a month" when Best Buy will swap it out one the first visit.

This watch is definitely a step up from the fenix 6. It has more features thst i could imagine. Great for the outdoor enthusiast. Ive been using it to track my runs, tracking my kayaking trips, and fly fishing trips. I love that I always have a little flash light on my wrist. At first I didnt like the touch screen, it has its moments when it gets in the way. Im glad that Garmin decided to give users the options to turn it off. It syncs with my iphone with no issues unlike the fenix 6 i previously owned. Great product overall.

I know I was one of those people who said no thanks 100 times to warranites in past , We took a chance on this and We could NOT be happier we did !! My wife bought a samsung watch , she loved it but the face was going on and off, we took the watch back a year later we told the customer service we had the 2 year warranty on it and with no questions looked at the defect on watch walked us over to the watches that were behind the glass asked which color my wife wanted and she walked out with brand new watch !! Guys and Girls I am telling you get this protection , best buy is just Great with the way they handle it !! You will be So Happy you got it , worth it for one watch that was $279 !!

I had a Samsung galaxy 4 watch and after a year and a half of use the screen stopped working properly (just a bunch of lines). Since they couldn't get the serial number from the watch, as it is located in the settings on the screen, they gave me store credit for the watch. I used that towards the galxay 5 and bought the protection plan again. It's nice to have a company that will stand behind their 2 year warranty. Thank You Best Buy

I was one that never used to buy the extended protection, thinking like many, it was just a gimmick to get more money from you. Back when I bought my first Flat screen, a 50" 3D Plasma for somewhere around $1000, I thought it might be a good idea. It was a 5 year plan. I am so glad I did. About 3 years after purchasing the TV, a column of pixels in the center of the screen went black. I called Geek Squad and they sent a tech out to check it out and they determined the TV needed to be replaced. That model was no longer available but Best Buy gave me the full purchase price toward my new 55" UHD 3D TV. Ever since then I always buy extra protection on electronics over a certain price.
