As I had to utilize the warranty for my smartwatch, I found it peculiar that I still had to pay a fee despite having already paid for the item. While I'm grateful for the warranty that allowed me to replace the faulty product, it seems counterintuitive to charge a fee for something that should have been included in the original purchase. I believe this is something worth looking into to ensure that our customers are receiving fair and transparent treatment.

Purchases a fossil 2yrs ago. Wear it out and went to replace. Bestbuy had discontinued the fossil, but credited my acount for $259.99 (orignal price of Watch on release) and then pricematched A Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 pro 45mm ($499 2022 model to 249.99). I orginal purchased the Fossil onsale For 149.99

What is not to love about Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plans?!? They are reasonably priced and allow you to return the defective merchandise directly to their store to be fixed or replaced. Another giant retail competitor offers warranties on some of their products but it is an absolute nightmare to have anything repaired and forget about getting it replaced. If you want to be guaranteed that a defective product will be fixed or replaced you should go directly to Best Buy and make sure you purchase the protection plan!

Love the idea that my watch is covered for any damage it may get

It does not cover the product repair costs only 20% off parts and nothing off of labor. It covers less than most warranties

This is a no brainer to get for me. It may seem like a waste of money especially if you do not damage or break your equipment however, my personal philosophy is that anything I spend over $100 on I want to get the warranty just to be safe. I treat my electronics and possessions very well and hardly damage anything on them but it's nice to have this peace of mind. This is something to have just in case it breaks.

I scratched my screen pretty bad on my watch which made it hard to see and was starting to affect me more when making screen options. Geek squad protection took my watch and gave me a gift card to go purchase a new one. I paid the difference for the newest model and also bought my new watch the protection plan. Its a small price to pay for good coverage. I believe it covers everything except for lost or stolen devices.

I haven't used the service yet for my watch which i purchased this under but i have used geek squad service for other items before and i have never had an issue. If it wasnt fixed then it was replaces with no hassle!

Been using this for a few months now. Tells time, alerts when texts or phone calls are received. Quick reply, preset text replies can be sent. Counts steps, has a timer, heart rate monitor that does not require a separate strap, as its sensor is on the backside of the watch. The HRM is accurate but sometimes temperamental, as mentioned by other users. Really like the sleep monitor which tells you how long you slept (based on you turning it on/off) and how much movement it sensed throughout the night. Great device for the price. Super easy to set up!
