You never know when something will happen and not having the protection plan to repair the damages or replace really does suck.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received for my camera at your store. On May 20, I brought in my camera due to issues connecting to the SnapBridge app. The representative informed me that it needed to be sent off for repair, which would take approximately two weeks. Unfortunately, during this period, there was no communication to update me on the status of my camera.
More than three weeks later, I finally received notification that my camera was ready for pickup. However, upon visiting the store, I was informed that there was uncertainty about whether my camera had indeed been repaired. The representative mentioned that the firmware was updated and the camera was cleaned, but I was left wondering if the main issue—the SnapBridge connectivity problem—had been resolved.
To my surprise, no attempt had been made to connect the camera to the app during the repair process. Instead, I was hurriedly encouraged to try it myself before the store closed. Unfortunately, my attempts to connect to SnapBridge were unsuccessful.
Furthermore, I was given two options: either take the camera to a different professional camera service or send it back for reevaluation, which would add an additional three-plus weeks to the process. As a paying customer, I find it perplexing that an alternative repair option outside of Best Buy was even suggested.
I am disappointed that my camera was sent off for repair without addressing the actual issue I reported. I have missed capturing important milestones due to this prolonged inconvenience. Now, I am left waiting to see if my camera can indeed be repaired or if I will need to consider purchasing a new one, especially since my current model has been discontinued.
