Geek squad protection is great, but others are close.

And I hope I don't. Just in case I drop it. I dropped my first digital camera but just bought a new one which lasted at least 10 years before the motor simply died. I generally keep it around my neck but I bought the 1 year just in case I get careless or fall with it.

I think that you should protect all your investments

this was a great value I hope I never have to use.

Some of the policies when you get a lemon are absurd. Still needs to be sent away for repair three times in order to get a replacement even though it's a manufacturing defect that the manufacturer acknowledges it cannot fix.

I listed this as average because it covers me completely only for a year. I will probably never use it but it was good to know I wouldn't have to go through manufacturer's warranty process. I did this for peace of mind on large purchase.

I can't say how the Geek Squad service is because I purchased it but so far have yet to use them.

Fortunately I've not had the chance to use this but it's worth the extra protection knowing that you got it should something go wrong in the first year of the product that you have it on

Purchases with camera to support any possible accidents; however the film is pricey so don’t use camera often.

Always great to have protection for your new electronic device in case something happens. But when it comes to prices other stores offer same protection at a cheaper price.

I thankfully didn't need to use any kind of repair service so I can't review the service properly.

Best Buy should stand behind products without buying "insurance". Why doesn't the manufacturer offer better protection? A throw away society? What a shame.

I never used my Geek Squad protection, so for me it was a waste of money. I guess it can be useful to some people, especially if you drop items easily.

Husband purchased protection plan, just in case something happens to my tablet. I'm hoping that its worth the coast -- we shall see

2 year protection plan.. hopefully won’t need it..

Haven’t used it and when it’s time too I’m pretty sure the warranty will no longer be active

Warranty was great when 1st purchased but when time to renew it was as much as buying the product again new.
