I personally like the geek squad protection plans. I don't have to use many. But nice to have when something goes wrong. Then don't have to worry about it.

Bought for my son's 3rd XBox "Elite" controller. The other two stopped working making the $60 protection plan not only necessary but also basically part of the "cost" of the controller. Hopefully, the 3rd time's the charm!?! When an item is still under warranty, you shouldn't have to buy a new protection plan when the item is replaced.

How can you not love Geek Squads product replacement plan. I mean, you NEED to get this on all your products that you buy from Best Buy. I don’t care if you’re buying a 1500$ 4k tv and the plan cost 300$ extra. BUY IT!

I have now had to use my Geek Squad Warranty twice. There was no hassle and has save me close to a $1,000. I highly recommend getting a warranty on electronics that you use daily.
