I always use Geek Squad protection, most time they don't fix the product, I just get to get the new model of that product and pay the difference, or the same and i leave with the new, working, item.

Always a good buy. Best buy is really good about replacing broken things and you never know what will happen once you leave the store. It's always better to be prepared in my opinion.

Headset was damaged. Unable to use best buy replacement was hassle free was able to receive another set before leaving the store. Great purchase highly recommend on every purchase.

Luckily I haven't had to use the protection plan but having it is definitely piece of mind. Especially with having kids and knowing things happen you don't have to worry about accidents.
