This warranty is better than Verizon and cost less

Never have had any problems with the geek squad...

The Geek Squad Protection plan for my Galaxy S9+ has been very disappointing. It turns out that there is only one Best Buy in my state that will service them (and none of the Best Buys in the state where I originally bought this plan!) on-site. Everywhere else has to ship it out. I had to drive a good distance to get there, and the first time, they said it would be a day or two to repair. Understandable, so I scheduled it when I could leave the phone behind. I left a note in the repair scheduling ticket why I was dropping the phone off. When I brought it, they didn't have the replacement parts, and it would take several days. They recommended calling in advance to make sure they would have it. So I scheduled ANOTHER appointment, called to confirm, they said they had the parts, but call the day of to make sure they still had the parts. Day of service.....I called, waited on hold almost 30 minutes.....they didn't have the parts, but they could get them by next week! What a waste of time and energy. Don't get this warranty.

Always buy the protection for emergencies. I love best buy

The duration of the service (2 years) is good, but the overall purchase value is not worth if you are a decent user. Recommended only if you are a risky user.

MONEY SAVING BY PAYING COMPLETE TWO YEAR INSURANCE

I've h.g.h ad Geek Squad before for other items & they were ok. It helps when you get a smart one that can answer anything.

For the price I think it should have been more than just 2 years or include theft/loss, but I guess its better than nothing.

I previously had Assurion on through Verizon being Geek squad is cheaper I decided to go with that hopefully never have to use it

When I purchased the protection plan for my cell phone I was told everything it would cover and it sounded great. When I tried to use it because of a cracked screen I was told I would need to pay 199.00 on top of the 159.00 I had already paid for the protection plan. This would come to more than what the phone is now worth. I was never told about having to pay to use the plan.
