A: You have to call their plan service number or enter a claim on their plan claim website. I found it to be a big rip-off. I paid over $160 for this so called protection plan. There's a small crack in the bottom corner of the screen as well a a few other technical issues. I took the phone to Best Buy to have it fixed or replaced. I was told I had to pay a few of over $200 with tax. Over $360 for a protection plan repair or refurbished phone. You can get a new one on Amazon for $349! To have it fixed for the original $160 was doable. To charge an additional $200 is a rip off!

However, our Geek Squad Complete Protection plan does, and it's only about $3.00 more per month. If needed, loss and theft coverage can also be purchased separately. Be aware that a device-specific deductible would be charged if a claim was to be submitted, and the plan unfortunately isn't available for iPhones or phones without a contract.
