This protection plan costs less than getting one through my phone carrier. Cracked the screen on my last phone just a few days before the plan expired, and had a new (refurbished) one in my hands less than 2 days later! Costs less to buy it up front, then there are also no monthly fees to worry about.

Haven't needed to use the service yet and hopefully won't have any problems with the covered device. I chose Geek protection rather than the manufacturer's similar offer because of the easy availability of a Best Buy store and past satisfactory communications with a Geek tech. I'm told that I have access to Geek technical help if needed.

I like having insurance on the phone but it is mighty expensive if you buy the insurance out right. They told me it would be a 149.00 replacement fee if it got broken. The problem with that is that the receipt states that it is a 199.00 replacement fee. We spent 159 dollars and something purchasing insurance per phone.

Sometimes it is worth purchasing tge geek warranties and sometines it is not worth it. You have to take into consideration how much is the item and will spending additional money worth it? I purchase sometimes not all the time.

I had to get this to protect my new investment and it was a better product than from ATT would give you, I hope I never have to use it but if I do I will do post an update. I have had Geek squad protection on most of my Best Buy purchases and never had an issue.

I never used this warranty after 2 years of having my phone so I can't justify that it was worth the price. However, it's always a good thing to have if you need it. I juts never needed it.

I have always availed Geek Squad for all devices brought through Best Buy. A very reliable and useful resource. Electronics can get repaired any time and this saves me lots of money. They try to repair the device, if not possible, replace it with a new one.

Sales people were honest and very helpful. I am not very excited about the actual warranty as the deductible is way too high. However the sales staff was honest and upfront and explained everything to me which made the transaction worth while.

I would recommend it over moto e4 plus because it is easier to use. The speed and the memory makes it better than the S7. It is hard.to know when to buy a new phone because they keep getting better. Prefer geek squd6 warranty over sprint warranty because The carrier warranty cost too much. I WOULD RATHER OWN AND NOT RENT THE PHONE.

I have always had Geek squad protection for my Samsung's. My kids have Apple protection. Just realized that the Geek squad is not as good as Apple, has a much higher deductible - but, you still gotta have it.

I've never had any problems with geek squad protection plans I just recently had to use it for my phone. I was there in the evening and my new phone was at more door the next day I don't know how you can ask for any better service. The representatives are always kind and professional I definitely recommend the service.

I did not purchase this protection a year ago when I bought a $700 computer. Two months after I bought it I dropped it and shattered the screen. It would have cost me $556 to fix it. So, I learned my lesson. I do not have to worry about replacing my new computer. II bought it for my tablet as well because I just dropped my old tablet.

I have had you use my Geek Squad protection play once on a phone. I buy my phones at BestBuy now because of their protection plans. With this plan I was able to save money in the long run by paying for it all up front.

I guess this plan is about average. It depends on what you think is going to go wrong with the phone. I wish there was a plan out there that would cover what Best buy would in addittion to the insurance Verizon has.

I bought for the 2nd time wished it was cheaper since im a repeat customer, i guess gettingfree tune ups every couple months is worth it

Cell phones are so expensive these days that it is well worth spending the money on this warranty. We all have had that accidental drop because our hands are to full or it just slipped out of our hands or several other scenarios and its nice to know the phone can be replaced!

This is by far the best accident protection plan that I have ever purchased. It protects my phone from almost anything and it is the greatest plan ever! I highly recommend this protection plan to anyone that doesn't have one or thinks they need one this is the plan!

I have broke 3 phones recently. I used them smashed because I loved them. I did not feel the need for coverage because I had not had problems until recently. I did not use covers either. So I broke down and purchased additional coverage and have not needed it yet!!! Yay!!!

Insurance for devices like smartphones is a necessity, but shopping for it is never a great experience. Geek Squad's offering is no different. When I purchased this for a smartphone, I was also enrolled by a Best Buy cashier for my carrier's insurance. Had I not caught this, I would have been billed for over half of the cost of the phone over the duration of the contract. In the end, I opted for my carrier's insurance over this plan. Nothing against this one, but my carrier has more locations offering service than Best Buy does.
