The plan was at a great price for 2 years. I just hope it was worth it. I hope that I never have to use it but if I do, I just hope they live up to what they say.

When I got my Samsung 7 phone from Best Buy I went with the sales person and got the Geek squad insurance. Glad I did and it is a lot better than AT&T's insurance. I paid it off all at one time and do not have to pay for it every month. It covers a lot if your phone goes bad.

although i haven't had to use it on this device, i make sure to purchase some protection on all my big-ticket devices, it is well worth the extra price, not for when you don't use it, but for when you need it... and i have needed it on other devices in the past.

I have used the Best Buy warranty on several of their products. It is excellent. I failed to buy the warrenty on my first phone. A mistake that cost me dearly. I bought this warrenty for the Galaxy S8+, my second one. I highly recommend Best Buy warranty.

I purchased this based upon recommendation of sales staff. I'm not fond of a battery case that cant be replaced e.g., S7). IM hoping that I never have the need for the service, but on that off circumstance that something happens, I feel I would be covered. Crossing fingers!

I purchased this instead of going through Verizon because the 2-year rate was better and the term matched what I typically get for phone insurance coverage.

The price was reasonable, and I'm a bit of a clutz when it comes to my phone, so this was a necessary purchase, but thankfully I never had to use my policy.

Most people believe that buying an insurance for your phone is not worth it, but it only takes seconds for the screen to break. It was wonderful how quickly I got my phone fixed through the Geek Squad.

Insurance isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. After dropping my Note 3 Edge, I decided it was worth the peace of mind to just get the insurance. So do it.

I usually do not get these, but with a teen who will be going to college soon and will need to have her phone I figured it was worth it. Also, at the time of the phone purchase got a rebate card for more than the protection so basically it was free.

Insurance on expensive toys are a must! Haven't used it yet and hope I never really have to, to be honest. But always a good feeling to have just in case.

Since I have not used Geek Squad Accident Coverage I cannot comment on their work. The coverage seems average at average prices of similar coverage by others. Never owning a smart phone before and not familiar with handling it, I got this coverage to protect my investment. I figure after 2 years the phone will have depreciated enough that the cost of insurance is no longer cost effective, thus this is a one time purchase. You have to decide if your needs require this coverage.

A warranty is always a chance buy. But the rep explained to me that if I needed to file a claim, it would cost $149. When I filed the claim for my cracked phone, it costs $199. In addition, I was sent a refurbished phone not a new phone, with a weak battery. It won't hold a charge more than 8 hours

I purchased this for my youngest granddaughter for her ipod so that there would be an assurance that she would be okey if she had an accident with her electronic device. Geek squad has always come through for me and my family.

Never bought additional protection plans or warranties before, but cell phones are more intricate devices than when they were first made. If you use your cell instead of regular house phone and computer then protect it well.

Good to have nearby. Peace of mind. Best to make an appointment ahead of time, however. You can show up, but wait times can be long without an appt.

The Best Buy service plan is far more reasonable that the asurian plan thru Verizon! It more than covers the same things and on top of the coverage, I can take it in to any BestBuy.... no mailing it in!! This is a huge bonus!!

I enjoy having extra protection on my device other than the manufacturer's warranty. A little piece of mind when you don't insure your phone.

I hope to never use it, but the protection plans are great in the event you do need to use them. Haven't yet with this purchase but have used in the past. Price paid for protecting usually is better than having to repurchase brandnew.
