    they would nox fix my phone

    my wife had and still has a crack glass on this phone after it was drop, she took in to the store the phone was bought at and she was told that they would not fix the phone without a deductible paid out of her pocket. if there was in deed a deductible required to use this protection plan it was never mentioned at the time of purchase.

    The protection seemed great at the time of buying it but really is of not much use. I broke my phone's back glass and instead of fixing it, they said that they can only replace the phone and charged me an additional $150 for the replacement.

    I paid for protection only to pay again when the phone couldn't be repaired locally. They shipped me a defective phone for a replacement and I still have to ship this one back and deal with the hassle all over again. This protection plan has NOT worked for me.

    The protection plan offered by bestbuy is a joke. I purchased the full two year protection plan when I bought a new phone paid for everything up front. 3 months later the phone/screen is shattered and apparently it is to much damage to be covered by there plan.

    sent laptop in for repair, they told me i needed this virus protection program to get computer back up. They could not fix computer and because they couldn't get running virus protection was never used could not get refunded

    Took money & the phone

    My phone broke and I received the replacement. A few weeks later they pulled money off my card and they have the broken phone. Now I need to argue with them to get the money back. Never again will I pick up Best Buy’s plan.

    We had a problem with the item purchased and came to them for help. The process took hours and we left with the problem. Had to find help else. Greatly disappointing.

    Don't recommend due to the high price you have to pay to get a phone fixed after paying so much for the warranty to begin with.

    The cell phone sumsung galaxy S9 started to be hiper slow w/ one month. I went to best buy and they said it's normal.

It would cover issues such as a cracked screen from handling or a hardware component of the phone failing.     This seems to be a better and cheaper protection plan than Sprint offers, as Sprint does not cover water damage to the battery.

    I had Verizon insurance when I got the Galaxy s9 plus and I switched to Geek squad because I'd heard a lot of good things about it, worst mistake I've ever made! Verizon will go to your house and fix a phone screen for 20$ if you have their insurance... With GEEK SQUAD ITS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY.... I paid to have insurance on my phone 160$... I had my phone three whole months and had an accident, stepped on it. I called geek squad and they just kept telling me to go to the nearest best buy to have them check it out, which was 30 miles away. I get there, and dude tells me I have two options, I can either ship my phone out to the repair center in Bakersfield and have them fix the screen and be without a phone for a week or so or I can have a new one shipped to me. He told me it "WONT COST ANYTHING" to get a replacement shipped to me, to just call a number and give them my invoice number. I leave the store, call the number and they proceed to tell me I have to pay 200$ for the replacement.... So let me get this right... I paid 160 plus the 200 just because of a broken screen?!?!?! I literally could've taken it to a repair shop here in town for less than that!! The guy on the phone goes "Or you can take it to Bakersfield and have it fixed same day for 60$" I asked if they can ship it to Bakersfield and they said they couldn't do that, after the first guy I talked to said they could. I work a full time job weekdays and a part time job weekends, PLUS I'd have to drive 7 HOURS away to do that! The staff members need better training, they're giving out false information! Lowest quality of customer service, total rip off for the "insurance". I'm super embarrassed I talked so highly of Geek Squad... Will never buy another insurance from them again! I drove 30 miles away just to be told pay 200 or just keep the broken phone. Total disappointment, waste of time, money and gas. Will keep Verizon insurance next time I buy a new phone...

    I bought this because I was switching for the first time over to android from apple and didn't know what to expect. Love the phone but I sat down on a sun chair and it only fell 1 foot and the screen cracked. So I was relieved that I had got the insurance and I took it in to geek squad and the tech told me that screen or accidental damage was not covered???? What??? the name of the insurance I bought is called 2 year accidental geek squad protection? I have spent tens of thousands of dollars at best buy and I work in a professional setting so I hope best buy decides to right their wrong and treat loyal customers as they should be treated besides honoring what the terms of the insurance is supposed to do. All the tech would say is I am sorry I have to give the bad news. I responded well what is the insurance for then? He said for battery or software issues. I did everything I could to maintain my composure after being lied to and ripped off. The tech said that I could go to a local repair place and they said that it would be $400 to replace it.
