Don't make a purchase without buying a protection plan. Come in really handy. Especially when item is defective.

To me the warranty is always worth it. It gives me peace of mine if my product breaks it will be covered

Router extender went bad. They took unit back but issued a gift card. I had used a $25 earned certificate and used it on the original purchase. I lost that money. They could of re issued the certificate that I earned.

I have to have this product replacement on most of the available things I get from best buy. The service is wonderful! I just need to take the broken device to BestBuy and they take care of the whole process right at the customer service desk.
