    Now you have to make an appointment and leave your item for repair/review. In the past, the agents would help you on the spot, if they could. It's hard to reach Geek Squad at store by phone.

    Geek squad service has saved me a few times! Recently had to use it for our washer. There's hoops to jump through sometimes but well worth it for the added protection.
