Hard to say goodbye to our over 5 year old printer that was a great printer but, due to a hurricane dropping a tree in our home and us unable to get to the copy machine, the inkjet printer sat for months and the ink dried up in it. This had me considering a laser printer so, I bit the bullet and got one. Now, for 4 years, I'm worry free. I know I'm protected if this copy/printer has any issues. I've had electronics go out on me within only a few weeks, months and a year. The only time I didn't get a protection plan was for the one a couple of weeks. I even threw the receipt away! Lesson learned!

It is a reallya good investment I have used it twice and got only good results

Very knowledgable did not take them very long to remove old TV and replace it with the new one. Did all the setup connecting to satalite, antenna, internet and showed all features of new tv.

The return policy is fair and Best Buy has never given and issue to replace a part yet. I have returned things for as simple as the headset ear piece cracked and is falling apart to more complex things as The pc is having odd issues. Best Buy has never given me or anyone i helped trouble. The only issue is stock alot of times you will buy a headset mouse ect and go to return it wanting the same product you fell in love with and find out it is no longer carried. It can be bit upsetting if you fell in love with an item that you cant get that item back less then a year later in some cases. Other then this though its a great program. ( ps the stock thing is really not Best Buys fault its just a nuisance when it happens they are very accommodating to try and help though)

I am not very computer savvy..... I am able to ask questions and get help any time and am confident in their service if I need anything having to do with my computer's. The Geek Squad Service was perfect when I purchased my new iMac last year. A Rep. Came to my home and "HOOKED ME UP" with no problem. I will always keep the service. It gives me confidence to purchase future electronic's. Am 78 years old and NEED this service. Thank you, so much!

I always make sure I get the extended warranty with all my electronics and appliances… there have been times when they come in handy and Geek Squad/Best Buy makes it easy!

Super fast and crisp words/pictures! I love that I can finally do double sided papers without having to turn the papers over manually. I love that the paper tray is underneath and holds about 1/2 a pack, maybe more.

For the cost of the Geek Squad service I thought it would be worth it in case the printer I bought stops working.

Don't usually purchase but when I get my Ring cameras I don't pass up the low cost for protection you may have to use. Some NEWLY RELEASED tech items have issues unforeseen and this helps so much as well as easy online chat access. If not used - you don't lose out on a lot of money. The same goes for Apple phones, ipads and laptops - DON'T PASS UP ON PROTECTION. It may be more than this but apple products can range in the 1000s so 30 dollars is worth it. I think I only had to pay $10 each for each of my ring stickup cameras purchased. $20 isn't too much for peace of mind on outdoor cameras.

Actually having Geek Squad protection doesn't mean a lot to me. I purchased a computer and all the periperials that go along with an ASUS ROG game computer, over $4000. I wasn't sure how to update it to Windows 10 so they told me to bring it in. I had to go back home and bring them the power cord and show them how to plug it in. They had no power cord for it. days later they called to say they had finished and that evening I was on the line with Microsoft for 4 hours trying to fix what they had done. They may have worked wonders for many and Im sure they have but they just didn't for me. I love best buy, the employees, customer service, everyone. We're always treated so well there, Im just not a Geek Squad fan.

Best Buy geek squad warranty program has always been EXCELLENT! No questions about my printer ceasing to work! Less than five minutes in and out with a gift card for full amount plus tax!

Great warranty to have no issue with the process real fast and nice.

I was very unsatisfied with the HP Envy printer I had bought at BEST BUY. My previous HP had worked well enough but broke as soon as it went off warranty. For some reason my Envy was not connecting with my wifi at all. I had called HP numerous times as well as Geek Squad, with no solid connection. So, after a year of reconnecting everytime I printed, I "traded it in" for an HP Office Jet Pro (HP finally figured out what was wrong) and because I had the product replacement warranty I paid nothing. Boy, was I lucky, the Pro was on sale and I got another replacement agreement!! I received $11 back. The problem was in the connection with the high power wifi and the cable company. Love these geeks. Greatest agreement ever.

This service is FANTASTIC! The reps are available 24/7 and truly know computers. They are patient, willing to help and teach and answer all questions, no matter how basic. If they don't feel that they can adequately solve my problem, they will escalate the situation to the next level tech person. They have helped me with my cell phone, my laptop, my desktop, my monitor, my printer. I have convinced several friends to sign up for this wonderful service. I understand that the yearly fee has doubled since I first joined and am happy that my renewal amount was the same this year as it was in the past.

When printer was messing up I took it straight to geek squad and they was able to change out the printers immediately.

Don’t doubt geek squad service. I’ve had it for different small appliances or electronics. It’s an easy way to just bring in the problem item and be exchanged for a functional one. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Don’t forget to add it on your purchases!

I haven’t needed service yet, but bought it as a safeguard for my new Epson Printer ET-3850.

Absolutely love this printer I would recommend it very highly for anyone. Looking for a high end. Printer with a great price.

I had taken this protection for a gaming mouse that's known to breakdown within few months. As expected, the mouse stopped working within few months of use & I took it to Best Buy. The Tech person checked the mouse whether if there was any physical abuse done. Once satisfied all was good, the tech team offered me a full 'refund' on the mouse that could be used on another product within Best Buy. Hence, I would suggest do a review of the product you wish to buy and then decide if you wish to purchase this services.... it's like paying for peace of mind. Hope this review helps. Thanks!!
