    I purchased the warranty and 6 months later my item started acting up and wouldn’t function properly. They told me to bring it in and they will take care of everything. I get to my store expecting to have to wait 6-8 weeks but since I purchased BB warranty they gave me a new one and said I don’t have to wait they will handle any repairs for my old one and returns to the manufacture that’s all part of the contract and my warranty is still good from the date of purchase!!! Awesome!!!

    Protect your printers people

    I got the protection for my printer that really sucks, so it’ll be nice when it stops working to be able to get it fixed or get a new one. Printers are SO unreliable and so poorly manufactured, so I would highly recommend buying protection for them. I own tons of electronics and never buy protection, except for my printers. I’ve lost too much money to broken printers.

    This 2 Year Geek Squad Product Replacement Plan was purchased for about $10 during same transaction when buying Gaming Headset many years ago. It actually proves to be useful when our Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset broke just a couple days before the 2 year Geek Squad warranty expires. We happened to be lucky as the warranty was still valid when the expensive Gaming Headset malfunctioned. It was quite easy to exchange for replacement product. Would not recommend for low to medium priced items. Would highly recommend for more expensive electronic items.

    Been almost two years, ridiculous amount of printing (business, photos, schoolwork, invitations, etc.), and still have plenty of ink! With cartridge printers, we were paying $40-$50 a month for replacement cartridges!

    I had a Rival 650 mouse but the glue that held on the pads started doing weird things. The pads would slide around and the glue would squish out a bit and collect dust. All I had to do was bring in the mouse, the usb and cable to the geek squad counter at Bestbuy, explained the situation, and they took the pieces (even though I was missing a couple of the weights), and gave me store credit. I'm getting their protection for everything I get at Bestbuy from now on.

    Always get the Geek Squad Protection

    The one thing I can count on in all my purchases at Best Buy is, if you have the Geek Squad protection, you are golden if something happens to your product. I have NEVER had a problem bring something back the malfunctioned. I repeat, NEVER! Best thing going if you get something electronic.

    I purchased an HP 8025e printer to replace and older HP printer. I took advantage of the 4-year protection plan. I have used the benefits of the protection plan on an older HP printer making the plan very useful.

    Anyone buying a printer should get this plan. Originally we got it because we thought just before the two years we would trade in our old model for a newer one since the plan covers it. Instead this plan saved the day as the OfficeJet Pro 8760 we had was a NIGHTMARE. 2 printers that would not connect wirelessly to anything even though HP swore to us that they tested the second one they sent us as a replacement. With this plan we were able to find a different printer that now works great and it took all of 10 minutes in store to get the swap done. If you buy a printer get this plan!

    Fortunately, I have not had to use the warrantee but I purchased it for peace of mind. The Epson I purchased less than a year ago died and I was not willing to go with the cost (shipping) and aggravation of shipping back to the factory and waiting for weeks to get the problem resolved. With the warrantee, I can walk a defective unit into my local Best Buy and be back in operation in hours instead of weeks. I don't usually buy or recommend extended warrantees but my recent experiences with printers dying too early make this a suggested expense.

    This printer is Amazing!!! I transitioned from the cartridges just to try and when I tell you, I will never Go Back!! My ink has lasted the 2 years, I have printed over 1000photos... Nice purchase, no issues...

    I purchased this extended warranty from Best Buy/Geek Squad just in case for my Brother-MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer. I haven't used the extended service agreement because the printer has worked so well. But it's good to know I have a back-up. Thanks Best Buy!

    I generally shop at a specific Best Buy store and have found that each Store Manager establishes a Customer Service culture. I have never had any issues with getting what I was told was in the service plan at my preferred store. However, I didn't have the same experience at another store whose management and employee's customer service reluctantly or didn't want to honor the terms of the agreement or Best Buy's policies. When I called Best Buy's National Customer Service a representative advised me that Managers exercise their own discretion on defective items, returns, etc.

    My original purchase failed after one plus years and was replaced by the same model without any problem. However, the replacement also had an issue and was also replaced for credit towards another brand that had the same features. However, I did have to purchase the extended warranty.

    I have purchased protection for a few different purchases. When I needed protection it was easy to get repairs, replacements or a refund. I was surprised at how easy it was when needed. I purchased 4 cameras, a dc player and several sets of speakers. They replaced one camera and refunded the full price of a different camera. I used that for an upgrade and purchased protection on that too. For smaller items, I might choose to not buy the protection.

    The product replacement plan covered the initial purchase price of my son’s broken headphones. I had to pay the price difference for the replacement headphones because the price increased. Keep in mind, once you use the 2-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement Plan, you have to purchase a new plan for the replacement item.
