I haven't had to use the insurance yet but i know Best Buy will stand by it if i ever have to.

I don't always choose to add the extended service plan through Geek Squad. Feels like gambling with my money on every purchase that I do not insure in case of the unforeseen. The products I purchased was a 1 terabytes scan disk brand external hard drive. I'm glad that I picked up the Geek Squad protection plan in case of the unforeseen it's much better to pay to have it in case something was to happen because it's the only chance of recovering those 's priceless files and information if the hard drive was to Phil

I made this TV purchased after My last Tv broke. I had it about 11 months and lost the picture. I had it fixed under the manufacture warranty. Less than a year later, I lost the picture again, and did not have any warranty on it. Cause me over $600.00 to get it fixed. Less then a year later, lost the picture again. I got a new tv with a 2 year warranty so that I will not go though this again.

I have had Geek Squad for years and love it! I am tech savvy (30 years) but constant changes in technology means I am not always aware of newest issues and solutions. We have multiple laptops, printers at home and sometimes I need extra help! It pays for itself multiple times throughout the year!

I recommend that you get Geek squad it is so worth it

Pros: Wireless. Wired when needed, which is not very often because of the ridiculously long battery life. Lightweight, but doesn't feel like it's not grounded. Smooth but tactile surface materials. Ultra-responsive in wireless or wired. Spectrum lighting and syncs with headset and keyboard. Great button layout with ambidextrous design. Even allows for "thumb" buttons on both sides if you can manage the extra buttons. Cons: Expensive, but to be honest, it's worth the money if it lasts like I expect.

He was excellent. Done in appropriate time. And set it up to my computer.

Everything "tech" is hit or miss nowadays. Our present situation does not appear to be resolving anytime soon. We will ALWAYS purchase the "4-year Geek Squad Product Replacement" service. So important today, especially for those on a fixed income.

This is my second go-round with the Geek Squad Program. Based on my experience, I can see renewing "til the end of my days"! They're always respectful and helpful without being condescending. If they can't help me, they are more than willing to send me up the line. I appreciate all their patience and their continuing support with ALL my questions and problems. On a side note, they're always fun to talk with and actually speak good English, allowing for little to no frustration on either of our parts.

I got this protection plan for my mom's printer I got her as a gift. I am so glad I did because the printer stopped working. She took it in and geek squad located the protection plan in theor system and replaced the printer the same day.

Knowing that my purchase is protected by such a solid plan gives me peace of mind for any issues that could occur. I haven't needed to use it but the plan covers so much I highly recommend getting on any expensive purchases. Better safe than sorry.

The geek squad service/warranty is well worth it on many items. I added this coverage to a printer a few years back and the printer completely died a few months before the coverage was up. I made an appointment, took it in, they checked it out to make sure it was not working and gave me a gift card for my original purchase price right away. Great service and coverage in this case

Returned a printer because it was not a wifi. My mistake. The return was easy and was able to track with a confirmation that it safely made back to the store. My account was swiftly reimbursed.

Usually don't get extended warranties but the ones from Geek Squad have been great when needed. They have always fixed the issue with less hassle than other warranties.

I have learned to always purchase the geek squad extended warranty. I recently returned my wireless printer which was nearly 4-years old. It would no longer work wirelessly. Because of this warranty I was given a comparable model which works much better. Also, luckily, it was on sale; therefore, I was given a giftcard for the difference of my original and the "on-sale" printer! I have also used this warranty on a phone set for our home and a few other items over the last 10-12 years.

I purchased the product replacement for this product as I had issues with the one for the original mini. I had to replace that one 3 times, and each time I went to the store they were a pleasure to deal with. No questions asked, was just told to go get a new one. And the first time I had to replace it, the price on the plan had decreased and they gave me a Best Buy credit for the difference! Also, each time you replace, it starts over again. This is the best product replacement plan around.

I think the price was right. But I am not able, at this time, to review the protection since I haven't had to use it.

With this plan it takes the headache out of all my tech issues. When I make my appointment and bring my computer in or set up an appointment for my larger items the Geek Squad always comes through and resolves the issues. The Geek Squad has come along way since the start of the Geek Squad as well as their customer service which is why I renew my service with them!

Best feature of printer are the ink cartridges last for a longer period and printing is very clear.
