I Bought this laptop in 2018 and still using it running some "aggressive" games such as Modern Warfare, Destiny 2, Last of Us, and Overwatch, and I will say that they run just fine. However, since games have become more demanding over the past 2 years, laptops are trying so hard to keep up with them. I drop frames repeatedly, especially in Modern Warfare. But I will say this is a great laptop and would have given it 5 stars, but I did the math a while back ago adding all the parts up together, and I was surprised to see the price. Let's just say that it's not worth $2,000, but other than that, it's a solid laptop.

Our family has not had to use it yet, but I feel confident that when that times comes Best Buy will come through.

If you ever have that "I'm not 100% sure" feeling when buying a product, don't hesitate to front the extra few bucks to purchase the 2-year protection service. The service is phenomenal and has saved me in the past when certain electronics started malfunctioning after an extended period of time.

Don't normally purchase extended warranties, but decided to on this one due to itsmultinfunction capabilities

Love if I have an issue, I don't have to take my computer and drop it off. They log on and clean it up. Plus getting a free 2 year warranty on every thing I buy has come in handy.

It's good to know that they will take care of any issues.

I have used this policy many times in the past with printers. My only complaint is that I had to buy a new policy after using it on a printer less than two weeks old.

If you buy anything electronic from Best Buy and do not buy the Geek Squad protection you’re making a big mistake. Too many things can go wrong with electronics and the Geek Squad protection has your back.

What if I don't feel safe with this brand of printers? Can I switch to another brand or request a refund?

Was having nothing but problems with my laptop (not even that old) and was ready to just drop a bunch of money on a new one. One if the associates asked if would mind if he took a look at my old one and see what he could do. Within an hour he called me up and said he updated a bunch of things and cleaned up & cleared out a bunch of nonsense and it was running a lot better. Absolutely AMAZING SERVICE!!!

I bought a headset and purchased the protection plan with geek squad when best buy associate told me about the benefits. After a year and so my son start having the trouble with voice quality then I called geek squad replacement, they give me an appointment to replace it .it was simple and easy transactions, would recommend to anyone to purchase replacement plant to protect your purchase!

Whenever I’m Offered the geek squad plan I always go with it. For Christmas I bought my brother a laptop for school (so happy I did now with e learning becoming an actual thing) & a little piece snapped in his charger & it took them less than a week to get it fixed & get it back to us. I’m sure they’re not always that fast with a broken item but the service is a must have for your electronics.

This was an extended warranty but I've forgotten on what! Maybe it was a printer. Depending how heavily you use a piece of equipment and how fragile they might be, I think the extended warranties Best Buy offers can definitely be a good insurance. I've had to make use of them a couple of times in the past 10 years and the staff have always made the process very easy; minimal hassle.

Actually had to use this on my $6000 Samsung which was 3 years old. Main board failed and it was not replaceable. Best Buy replaced it at no charge with the current equivalent model

With the cost of repair/replacement services today, it provides peace of mind to have a contract with the Geek Squad; you can also ask them questions about your purchase if you beed help setting it up; COVID-19 quarantine has somewhat limited access to their service, since they stopped doing home visits when coronavirus restrictions started. You can still phone them for assistance.

Pros: My HP Copier-Printer-Scanner is the best I've ever had! It is super easy to setup; super easy to change ink...and super easy to use the multiple functions. Con: The power-cord does not seem to fit tight in the Copier's power socket, thus is easily unplugged. Have to make sure the power cord is pushed flat up against a wall, to keep power-cord in the Copier's power socket.

I have had the Geek Squad protection on everything I buy that you can get coverage on it is nice because if you have any problems with the item you have the Geek Squad will replace with no charge I also have computer protection which is really nice to have because you can call any time when you have computer problems and they can fix your computer with out having to take for repair at Best Buy

Havent had to use it but I'm excited that it was offered and will protect my items

One of the best choices. Geek squad staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and don’t treat you like your stupid. Always willing to help and answer any questions you may have and will help you make the best choice and decision.
