I like having Geek Squad install my printers, and get the protection plan service. Several times the Geek folks came well prepared to assist me.

The best store ever, they are fun to walk around, see new items and also get Hands on, Best Buy always amazes me, with the updated technology !

I haven't had to use this, yet, but I feel pretty good about having bought it. Mostly, this kind of "coverage" is for my mental comfort ... "just in case" ... and the price was acceptable.

I purchased the Geek Squad support this time with my printer purchase as I faced a lot of issues with my previous printer that I purchased from Best Buy where I didn't purchase the Geek squad purchase earlier. I hope this will help me address any issues that may arise with my new printer. So far, I have not faced any issues with my new printer so can't really comment on feedback on Geek Squad support service at this point.

I purchased the 2-Year Geek Squad Product Replacement a couple of times when purchasing a printer. I've had to use it twice with no hassle and great customer service. Printers can break down anytime especially if you use it often. It is definitely advantageous to purchase replacement warranty vs paying for a new printer.

The geek squad service is a must when making purchases!!

Even if you are the most careful person in the world, chances are somehow something is going to screw up. Maybe it's something like a defective product, an idiotic family member doing something they are not suppose to do, or just a plain old fashion accident. With this service plan you'll at least be covered seven ways to Sunday and beyond for Two YEARS. It's one of the reasons why I always ask for a protection plan on everything I can at Best Buy.

The replacement program is amazing because it goes beyond the stores 14 day return policy but once you do one exchange you have to repay that fee if you want coverage on new item first time I bought it I thot it was good for two years oh no you can replace every x time but you have to pay that geek squad replacement price everytime if you want it for new item

The 4-yr Geek Squad Product Replacement was well worth the extra expense. The printer had to be replaced and it was done in a very fast and efficient manner. Complete new replacement.

I usually don't buy insurance. I figure the product will last that long and usually does. But, my brother had bought the original product guarantee and needed it on a Samsung 3 terabyte remote hard drive. We could not get that product to work on 3 computers so took it back. The guys at BB were great about it- no hassels. Replaced the unit with a Western Digital 4 t unit and that one worked great. Probably won't need the guarantee!

I am so happy that I purchase this extended warranty through the store, and it was very affordable. It is definitely worth getting the warranty with certain types of products, and in my case it was my Canon printer. For some reason, I have the worst of luck with buying printers and then shortly thereafter, they malfunction... So this was the best solution I can think of to protect my investment. Very happy!

changed wireless router to a new one ,have plaster walls n needed jump point into other rooms. he also reconnected current printer to be able to function on all features. unfortunate that printer has since gone awol so purchased new printer, existing would not print more than 1 page then get jammed now it won't scan its 4-5 years old

I buy this warrantee for printers and have yet to have problems with the exchanges. Printers do not seem to last long for some reason, and I have used this service for the last 3 or 4 printers I have purchased. Usually for the difference between the reimbursement and the trade up price for a better printer.

You can NOT beat this! Never ever will i buy anything from anywhere else, if best buy has it in stock and has the option for this Geek Squad service. Ive never had to mail anything anywhere, just go into the store with my broken product, and walk out with a brand new one! Easy choice here. Been shopping with Best Buy for years now and I will continue to do so.

I purchase frequently from Best Buy. Sometimes I purchase the Geek Squad protection, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I have to use the service and sometimes I don't. I guesstimate how long I plan to own the device and if I'd rather save my money now and get something different should the device have issues. No right or wrong choice. Life's a gamble anyhow.

The 4-year protection was worth purchasing after I had issues with a printer I bought after one year. It was a smooth transition to return my printer and receive a refund from Best Buy.

This covers regular wear. It's very easy to have items replaced with replacement coverage as long as you are aware of what is and is not covered. If the coverage doesn't say "ADH" or "accidental coverage" then it doesn't cover accidents like drops. But for something like a mouse or headphones, it is still great because if the performance quality goes down at all you can swap it out for a new one or a different item completely.

Didn't need to use the replacement. Did need Geek Squad help and they gladly helped me find the answers to my questions and were very helpful. If I hadn't purchased this then I could have been charged. I am not suggesting you need to purchase this on all products. I sure don't, but some things it is crazy not to purchase this extra warranty.

And it’s worth it if you’re worried about accidental spills or dropping it or some thing but if you’re not because you’re careful you’re an adult then the regular warranty probably works but I always get the geek squad because my house is a grandkids break everything house. But make sure it includes the accident coverage some of the geek squad warranties don’t.
