You don't want to go home without this protection. The service is great and they will take excellent care of you if you have a problem with your product. I have purchased this for several other products and the one or two times I have had to use it saved me a lot of frustration and money.

I had meant to write my review at time and unfortunately forgot. I believe the Sales person’s name was Eric. He was with the Geek Squad. He was extremely helpful and prevented me from messing up my computer. I really appreciate good service because I do not tolerate rude sales people. They should be in the back office if they can’t deal with the public.

Bought this for a new dishwasher and glad I did. We had a lightning strike and the new dishwasher was toasted. The replacement program saved me from having to buy another dishwasher!

If you ever have that "I'm not 100% sure" feeling when buying a product, don't hesitate to front the extra few bucks to purchase the 2-year protection service. The service is phenomenal and has saved me in the past when certain electronics started malfunctioning after an extended period of time.

Geek Squad definitely has room for improvement both in customer service and skill set. Have always managed to get me issue resolved but not timely. Geek Squad team members need mentoring by senior staff for customer service and improving skills. Computer based training should be implemented and be mandatory for the entire Squad team. The CBT must have a test at the end of each section to that senior staff can measure skill improvement. I would recommend to a friend hoping the above recommendation will be implemented.

See my review about the printer I bought and return on the same day. What is going on with inferior items being sold at Best Buy. I seen to many items being returned from televisions, Microwaves and Printers. I have been a long time patron of your store not just in New York but in the United States.

I generally trust myself with devices, I also don't have kids to worry about or untrustworthy roommates. If you think there's a hazard based on your environment or how you plan to setup the device, while it's not fun to shell out extra cash, it may be something you need down the road to not spend even more cash.

The Best Buy Warranties are the BEST! I purchased this particular warranty to protect my Canon printer. I almost always purchase their warranties on televisions, printers, and vacuums.

Total tech service has been really great, easy to get in for an appointment. Very friendly and informative. In person they are great but over the phone is not helpful for me, I feel like they pretty much just tell me to make an appointment and go in person

The Best Buy warranty is surely the best around. It may cost a little more than some and more period than others. But it also covers the Best in the business. Best Buy should give us stock for over many many many years all electronics we have bought if worthy one to buy as such a stereo is alsways from here and always have gotten the black tie ins. It's the best hands down.

I would encourage anyone spending over $50 on a product to by the Geek Squad protect. The cost is based on product value. I have Geek Squad protection for a variety of devices and it's a life saver. Easiest warranty program I've ever used. If you buy a computer from Best Buy, get Geek Squad Protection. You can take you computer in for anything from needing software updates to major damage.

I love geek squad… it’s always good to have to cover your expensive electronics.

If possible I always purchase Geek Squad Replacement insurance with all my Best Buy purchases. Although I have fortunately never had to use it with anything I have purchased at Best Bu!. But, for peace of mind should something go wrong I think it is a safe bet to purchase it. Unlike other merchants protection plans Best Buys actually cover with replacement with a new product and not a refurb!

While I used to just buy a new printer when the old one died, the replacement cost was under $100. Now that printers are way more expensive and seem a lot more complicated, I just feel safer knowing that I'll get mine repaired or replaced if anything happens to it.

Just incase my husband lose anything or my printer started messing up, its best to have so you would've have to purchase idea again.

Extended warranty for my Canon Pixma G7020 4 in 1 printer scanner fax & copier. Very happy with my purchase and have not had any issues yet.

Purchased replacement policies on both a DSL modem and a wireless router. Not much $$ for the additional two years' coverage - especially given the track record of DSL Modems. Turned out to be quite handy when the modem did fail, and I was able to replace it easily. They even replaced the replacement warranty, since the modem failed early in the term. Thanks, BB! Having said that, this product may not be suitable for all purchases. As with anything, do your homework on the covered product your purchasing, and determine for yourself if the additional outlay for the extended replacement warranty is worth it or not.

Geek Squad Product replacement plans are worth purchasing. I've ran into issues with products in the past, and they've always came through and either fixed the issue or replaced the items without giving me a hard time, which I really appreciate. And they always help out with any questions you have as well.
