Like all products now a days they break down. Having the protection plan gives me the comfort that if something goes wrong i can simply go to Best-Buy and get the product replaced free of charge. It is a new item that gets to replace the old.

i have always heard good things about the replacement service that Best Buy offers. Walmart’s does not compare, Best Buy replaces the device the day of the incident if you bring it into the store unlike many other replacement plans.

These replacement services are pretty reliable. The only issue I had was with one tv I needed replaced. It took alot of visits to finally get that resolved but they did eventually replace the tv with the latest model. Aside from that I always had quick service and replacements with electronics that have broken over the years.

I bought this with my son's Xbox Elite controller that was very expensive. Within 8 months he stated the buttons were not working properly. Took the controller back to Best Buy and within minutes had a brand new controller in hand.
