Not sure what i can say other than it’s always good to have a back up plan in case it gets broken

It makes me feel a little better that if the item is faulty or breaks after some use that I can return it and get a new one for a small fee(which I paid for when I buy the original item)

I purchased protection plan on my wireless controller and was well needed stop working after a month.

Needed for some products but not all it’s highly recommended for more Expensive product

Geek squad is a great product. Provides 2 year accidental replacement.
