It would be a mistake to order or buy any headphones now a days that are worth anything without a warranty. This is definitely a requirement

I always make sure i get the protection insurance on all my items. They only thing i wish is that they hired people with good customer service. Every time i go to this particular location staff is not friendly or helpful. And if you don’t make an appointment before showing up they r the rudest and will make u come back. That’s the only negative downside about best buy.

The warranty is good but if they replace the item with manufacture warranty you have to repurchase the 2 year protection plan

Better safe then sorry, if you drop $60 on pair o headphones why not cover then in case they break. Better then coming back and spending another $60

Any purchase you make that has the Product Replacement option is a good buy! I have never had an issue replacing anything that I have insured.

Gotta love it when something does go out and warranty kicks in and replaces your Xbox headset but then you have to purchase it again.

Bought this for my 10 year old son when I got him the X Box 1 for Christmas. It worked very well for two months, then the mic capability suddenly stopped working mid play. His Live friends couldn't hear him, but he could hear them. The Geek Squad two year replacement came in very handy. We got the same brand, but re-upped on the Geek Squad warranty. My son likes that it isn't heavy on his head, and works well, when it's working.

This protection plan is good for controllers to replace it if it brakes or stop working

As long as your device doesn't mess up after your 2yr plan your able to get it replaced
