I always purchase the Geek Squad protection plan for the items that I buy at Best Buy. I had to return an item before and I did not have any problem with the replacement.

people buy the Best buy warranties they're worth it especially if you compare the Verizon one for the phone to the Best buy version and it's so much easier dealing with them that is Verizon

had a issue with a laptop after subscription expired, not very helpfull, store warranty left me with a bad taste in my mouth, it was like without the geek squad they would not tell if the warranty would or would not cover my issue..almost cornered into keeping the coverage in effect, it yes it was still under the factory warranty,

If you have the option to purchase a protection plan, do it! It's usually inexpensive, and it provides you with peace of mind, knowing your products are protected.

A definite must have. You never know what could go wrong and having a warranty you can atleast have that sense of knowing that your investment is safe.

My recommendation is to get the Geek Squad Services. It will save you a lot of headache to claim with the manufacturer. My Elite Control malfunction. I came and they exchanged without asking.

I usually am not a big fan of purchasing a warranty.... think that's where "they get you".. but for little things( headsets, controllers).. Have to buy. It's going to break within 2 years!!!!!! Trust me
