    the protection works

    The protection is good, but if you return something w/in the 2 years, you have to rebuy the protection. I returned something w/in 4 months and i had to rebuy the protection and they didn't even have the replacement i needed.

    You need to buy this insurance for your product because it's better to have this for nothing, but the service is taking a lot of time to get a response

    I declined the geek squad insurance but it seems to me that it was added on regardless! Scummy sales tactics, but regardless it’s nice to know my controller is protected.

    Geek Squad has been hacked for info constantly receiving fraud emails trying to get me to provide information saying it is for renewal.

    Supposedly they fixed my Laptop and my PC we bought the warrantee and we were supposed to get the desk that we purchased and we never received a CD they couldn’t find it when we came to pick our products back up and it was so appalled that because you can use up to five products we won’t be able to use it because they couldn’t find the product we purchased they don’t know where they put it they said they are good But they get their hands into too many things at one time

    I got this plan for some gaming headphones and I tried to get them replaced, but after one time of doing so I had to renew it within 15 days, even though it wasn't 2 years in. But no problems the first time.

    Mazda extended warranty when purchasing the Astro A10 headphones this is the third set we've been through and just over a year definitely by the warranty if buying them headphones

    I bought an Elite 2 Controller by Microsoft. A controller which costs almost as much as a One S console. Premium top of the line controller. I also bought the 2 yr geek squad protection for $40. Well in late July 2020 I noticed one of my buttons is not quite working correctly. So I set up an appt to bring it in to have looked at. They didn’t even look at it just would replace it, but all of Best Buy doesn’t have any. So it’s either wait for more or get a store credit. Store credit is worthless to me since all I want is this controller. Flash forward to late august now. I saw that Best Buy is now selling them again online, so I went into the store to have them order a replacement for me. They can, and ask me if I want to cover it again. Wait what? My coverage is now done? You don’t warranty out this one and still continue my initial 2 years? NOPE. Now the 2 yr protection is $60 on this controller. So I’m to pay $100 in coverage for a controller that was swapped out once for being defective in less than a years time. Truly awful. I was expecting to continue my initial coverage and that it would just transfer to this product, not extend another 2 years but be in place of my initial 2 years. Use to love Best Buy’s geek squad protection, but I can’t get behind this anymore.

    This protection plan is good but lacks some potential with geek squad now you have to set up appointments with them its not like before

    Progressive Leasing sucks, they won't honor this plan, and all Best Buy does is refund the price of the device back to the loan agreement.

    bought turtle beach headset for playstation 4

    I call over the phone with Anthony that I brought a turtle beach headset for PlayStation 4. Told I wanted to get the replacement plan. but on the receipt doesn't say anything about heatset. hope if anything happens to my head set. I can replace it.

    Yeah I got the insurance my headset works fine there’s nothing wrong with it I’ve never ever needed that kind of a waste of money but if you think you need it buy it

    I have heard that it is difficult to do the return and if the item breaks within a certain time frame right after you purchase a product, the 2 year doesnt cover a thing.
