I purchased a speaker on June 11, 2020 and had to take it back August 25, 2020 because of charging issues. I only purchased Protection because the speaker was expensive and I was encouraged to. When I returned the speaker I was informed that the speaker was discontinued and I would have to take an in store credit minus the $80 Protection plan I purchased. Both the store manager and corporate customer service stated that that has always been the policy for Protection plans. I have purchased many Protection plans over the years and this has not always been the policy. I was encouraged to buy this because I was told if I had issues with my speaker I could just return it and get a new one at anytime during the 2 year coverage as opposed to sending back for warranty repair, which was also 2 yrs. obviously there were issues with this product as it is a new product and in less than 4 months it has been discontinued. I have made purchases of more than $10k in the past 90 days and purchased the Protection plan with every item. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and the response I received from the store as well as customer service. $80 was worth risking a valuable customer I guess.

Not what we had hoped for. Allowed us to return a defected pair, one time, and had to buy another warranty for the replacement we were given. Had trouble with an item more than once, so it wasn't what we had hoped for.
