We haven't used it yet but just the way the world works, if we wouldn't have gotten it then we would need the protection plan. Overall super happy we got it. Totally worth it.

After returning the first one (hence the 4 stars) because it wouldn't connect to my device...the second one I got works great! Has awesome sound and is really durable, I've dropped it a few times on accident. I haven't gotten it really wet, it has been splashed by water, while I was washing my dog...but not super wet and it still works like new.
