i got the replacement plan and wound up using it without problem. they didn't have the replacement in store so they ordered online in the same transaction.

The product support is best handled by the Cell phone center personnel at the store. The Geek Squad is better used for computers.

When I exercise the option of the 2-Year replacement plan because my Best Buy products aren't working it has always been honored.

I had a set of headphones break at the hinge and since I had bought the 2 year replacement, I had no issue getting a replacement.

Important to have if you use the product regularly. Puts me at ease if anything happens to it.
