    I pay for Best Buy’s Geek Squad for one and only one reason: to be able to return and exchange without questions whatever I purchase with this optional coverage added.

    Geek squad warranty is a life saver. Damage to my headphones has not been an issue as the Geek Squad warranty has enabled me to replace or repair multiple items when they have succumbed to wear and tear.

    Make sure that when purchasing the description says replacement and not extended repair. The replacement is quick and easy. The repair they have to send for repair.

    Pay upfront for your device protection at Best Buy if your product becomes defective or broken they will replace it at no charge and will even let you pay the difference for an upgraded device. It's ahhhhmazing!

    There protection plans are the best. I've put them on every thing from my head phones to my soundbar. I learned the hard way when my tv went out & had to spend money to get it repaired. BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN!

    When needed, the extend warranty from Geek Squad is great. Granted, not all things need warranty, but if needed, it’s well worth it. No questions asked if any issues.

    It is very important to add geek squad to your device.I add it to my ear bud and when i had issue with the case they replace it with a brand new earbud.

    I'm typically not a fan of service agreements or extended warranties however, this is well worth the money. No hassle...no funny faces...just bring the defected product back and they will replace it. I love it!!!

    Great headphones so worth protecting. Came in a few days after purchasing to add this item onto my order. Didn't have my receipt put customer service was able to look it up and add it on in no time flat.

    Sure the product usually has a 6 month to one year warranty but you have to hassel with forms and mailing stuff back and forth. This warranty keeps me covered with just my email or my cellphone number.

    I have purchased a Service Plan from time to time and feel for the most part it is worth it. When something goes wrong with the item, Best Buy just replaces or gives you credit to replace with an updated item.

    If you buy and expensive item from Best Buy that has a high risk of damage — say, Bose headphones — it's best to get the extended warranty. I've even purchased it for cheap Sony headphones in the past and it was very useful.

    I'd like to hope that expensive electronics will last forever, but lets face it, they're still electronics and will likely have some sort of issue within 2 years. The product replacement plan is a good insurance for any and all electronics items you purchase. It will usually pay for itself after 1 year.
