2 years is plenty. I would recommend for anything priced over 150$ to be safe. Other than that. Anything under 150$ why would you buy a warranty?

This is a geek squad contract...I'm not even sure what it was for at this point, but I'm writing this review anyway in order to capture points for it. The only things I seem to get it for are earbuds that are for my kids as they are pretty rough on those things, and if you spend $35 or more on them, and can 'pre-purchase' your next pair for 7.99 or so, that gives it some value where I usually won't touch this type of store warranty.

We have used their replacement policies with phones with good experiences.

I would recommend anyone to get the the extra protection.

Best Buy is great with product warranty. Please take note of your purchase date though.
