I bought the protection plan in case something happens. I have bought one for other products and it was nice not having to pay for a new product. If it couldn't be fixed, they gave you a store credit or a refurbished one to replace the bad one.

If you use a product on a daily basis, get the warranty. If you use the product at the gym on a daily basis, GET THE WARRANTY.

This is the best way to make sure your product will be safe without major push back.
