The Geed Squad service was outstanding! The representatives communicated frequently to let me know the status of their arrival, and were professional during the service call.

In my opinion not all items need a protection plan, but for a tv in my house, needed! Tv's are so light weight and the screens are more sensitive to a cats flying attack of images on screen, the "opps I missed " thrown balls or the backswing in sword play, and of course the accidental discharge of an airsoft gun's bb's. Then for the normal household ,things like surge protection, pixel loss, speaker crackling and now days the "Smart" portions of the tv. So I say yes to tv protection plans.

When you pay that kind of money you might just as well have it warranted

With my luck, as soon as manufacturing warranty ends, Geek Squad will kick in and I’ll have piece of mind. I always het a Geek Plan.

Good protection for worry free purchase. We got a Hisense TV and worried about it’s longevity so purchased the extra insurance just in case. However the TV had so many problems out of the box we returned it within the 14 days.

Exellent! So glad I did this. Pros fast, came out and diagnosed within a week, replaced my tv great customer service stateside. WELL worth the cost. Cons call center transferred overseas dropped calls twice after long wait times. Couldnt purchase protection plan over the phone for replacement had to go into Best Buys store to repurchase.

I purchased the 5 year Warranty on a Sharp TV. WITH 2 months left on the Warranty , it woukdnot start. BESTBUY replacec the TV when it was unable to be replaced. Great purchase. Great price.

They are great. Very Helpful. I love the 24/7 support they have. My son threw somthing at my tv but because I have the protection I can get the TV fixed.

We have purchased this coverage on another TV and it really paid off for us! The TV had a defect after 3 years of use and this protection coverage replaced it. Of course the model was discontinued so they gave us another TV... for the same amount we had paid 3 years earlier! We were upgraded to a state of the art TV with all the bells and whistles! It is worth investing in this coverage!! We will always purchase it for our high end purchases!

Unless you want to lose money instead of getting the item repaired/replaced with store credit, I always recommend family and friends to get GSP. it's worth the extra bucks in the event of any issues the item you have develops.
