I would suggest buying this coverage for expensive items such as TVs, laptops, cameras, etc. and for open box items. No need to buy it if you are pretty careful with your devices and if you are on budget, except for TVs which might give up at any time of its lifetime. Other devices might have a manufacturer's warranty, but if you can afford it, I would suggest still buy it for peace of mind.

Repair was good but contacting a person on the phone to make an appointment (or anything else) is extremely frustrating !

We hope to not have to use this service but is nice to have it available. We feel like it will be good protection on the procduct and good comfort to know we have it.

They have been available to me every time I have needed them!!

I am the type of person that would rather play it safe and be covered than to take a chance and be surprised later. Since my knowledge is not very good on fixing things buying the protection plan gives me piece of mind that if ever I need help someone knowledgeable will be there for me.

Just always get this. Its saved my @** so many times, with tvs, speakers, headsphones. Just spend the money, its worth it.

As a former employee and someone who still shops at best buy a lot getting the protection plan is a no brainer for TVs and anything that has the "accidental handling" plan.

I bought an open box TV and it had a small burn spot. I called the service and they came out and fixed it. Now I basically have a brand new TV. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful!

Always get this if you can, definitely worth the extra money

Fortunately we have not had to use the geek squad warranty on our new TV. The TV is up in northern Wisconsin so next summer will be when it gets the major use. Got the warrantee is I have had experience with receivers and not getting the warranty. Not so good.

The agent was knowledgeable and very polite. Wasted no time figuring out my issues. I suggest purchasing the 5 year warranty on all larger TVs. It worked well for me.

He was very proffessional. He was very friendly and nice. It didnt take him very long at all to put up wall mount. And he also hooked the tv up to the wall mount. It looks really good. I was very impressed.

While we haven't had to use the service, it's good to have the reassurance that our new TV is protected. The cost is worth the piece of mind

peace of mind on the things you spend a ton of money on, never be sorry you got it if it is a bigger ticket item, the support and expertise of the Geek Squad is fantastic, always helpful, even if I ask dumb questions, lol, they treat you with respect.

The geek squad is always important to me because I am technically challenged. I have it on almost everything i purchase from Best Buy.
