    Saved me a ton of money when the last tv went out. They gave me a gift receipt for the value of the tv and it was stress free and easy. Will never go with a lesser warranty again, its very much worth the money.

    Misleading Two-Year Warranty

    I purchased the 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan thinking it would provide immediate coverage if something went wrong with my new TV. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. What they don’t tell you upfront is that if your product is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Geek Squad won’t help you, they’ll just refer you back to the manufacturer. That means you’re really only getting about one year of coverage, not two, because Geek Squad won’t step in until the manufacturer’s warranty expires. To make things even more frustrating, if your TV is wall-mounted, Best Buy won’t unmount it for you unless you pay an additional $150 or hire someone else to do it before they’ll even assist you. So, even though you pay extra for “full protection,” it doesn’t actually feel like full protection at all. This experience feels misleading and like false advertising. When you buy a 2-year protection plan, you expect help anytime during those two years, not to be bounced between companies or charged extra just to start the replacement process. Customers deserve better transparency about what this plan actually covers and when it applies.

    It's inexpensive, and I like knowing that if something goes wrong there are capable people that will fix my products with great customer service.

    So far have not had to use them but bought this with other high end purchases will surely ease your mind on things especially if you are buying items worth up to and past $200.

    I have the geek squad service haven't had to use it as of yet. But I am confident they would take care of my problems. It's just good to know that you have them there if you need them. I know someone who has The Geek Squad service. And they say they took care of all their problems. Rated five-star

    Geek squad replaced my broke 75” 4K

    Cashed my last 5 year warranty in when 75” TV had a bad motherboard. Purchased again. It’s 20% insurance that something will happen in five years to a very complicated electronic. Becoming more and more a required cost of ownership.

    I would have been out $3,500 if it wasn't for this protection plan. I'm now a believer in purchasing these plans as they replaced the tv for a new one no questions asked

    Took out the extended warranty...hope I don't have to use it. Just gives peace of mind to know I don't have to take it in and they will come to me to repair.

    I've had no issues with my Sony 4K TV I purchased this warranty for but I know and heard that Best Buy does have great quality customer service if something goes wrong with your purchase and it can be easily returned and exchanged for the same product or similar product.

    I purchased one five years ago and my Television went bad 3 months before it was about to expire. I was given a full credit towards the purchase of a new television.

    very helpful in helping to exchange item. Only drawback was it was not volunteered to set up equipment weather it would be free or at an added cost and I did not think to ask as prior television was set up by delivery personnel.

    Haven't had a problem on Hisense Tv's but there's always a first time, knock on wood. I bought the TV reg price was $1000, for 75", I got on sale for Christmas for $600.00, The protection plan was $ 75. or close, I am proud to be protected. I had the use the plan on another model TV, and bestbuy honored very well.
