You can never be sure with new technology so I always buy the 5 year warranty. Products today are built to last like they did once before so a warranty is a must....save thousands or waste thousands?

love the geek squad service. I am amazed on how they solve problems so quickly. They know all products even if they are old ones.

The Geeks were great! Informative and walked us through the process. They were on time. They called our cell and were excellent communicators.

Let's hope that my post does not mean that I will need their service for repair. It's like insurance - better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

My better judgment was clouded when I purchased this plan, because immediately preceding its purchase, a TV that I bought open boxed the year prior and did not hook up until the 1 year warranty had lapsed, ended up having an HDMI input that did not function upon first use. Under normal circumstances I would assume that a new television not purchased on Black Friday or the like would easily go two years without any issues. I am close to the end of the 2 year coverage period for a television. If I do not end up using it then the plan was a bad choice, but the TV was was a good choice. If I do end up using it then the plan was a good choice, but the TV was a bad choice. Pretty standard when it comes to insurance.

I didn’t have to use the geek squad yet because my TV is working fine but you never know and it’s always good to have protection for your high priced item

the only thing i didn't care for is that it took a few days before a tech could help me but when he did, he was very good, informative & polite. i'm glad i signed up with the geek squad!

Always a good idea to protect your purchase. Havn't used it yet and hope I don't have to

I know there are better deals on other unheard of Chinese brands but I went to teh Best Buy store to see the difference. For a $20 difference this is a way better deal, it is like the brand says Sharp. Insignia, Hisense kind of branded tv don't even come close, they look faded and washed out.

Good decision made to get extended coverage beyond what manufacturers offering only one year for just defects on their products. Yes, you should always have it mind when purchase a larger size T.V.

Smartest move I made this year! Got the open box TV home and hdmi ports don't work. They're coming to fix it next week. Already worth the purchase! I'll never buy a TV or major tech without a plan.

I've purchased other protection packages and they've been very useful. One tv they actually gave me a store credit. It was very helpful for me to pick out a new tv of my choice. Which was 4 years newer.

The service has been able to help me with most of my computer problems over the phone. I have also had them come to my home and they have been courteous and knowledgeable. Jobs have been well done.

Haven't had to use the squad yet, but happy to know they are available. would have liked them to have helped me install, didn't know that was available to me.
