My wife and I purchased this tv with 5 year geek squad protection. The protection gives me peace of mind on a large purchase and to me it is definitely worth it whether I need their services or not.

The protection plan sounds wonderful and hopefully I never have to use it.

The first TV worked for about 4 days and had to be returned. I have had this TV for about 6 month’s and have had no issues so far. Best Buy picked up the bad Tv and brought me the new Tv to my residence and I live about 1 1/2 away from any Best Buy.

Love having the option to purchase Geek Squad protection on my purchases. They are knowledgeable and if they can’t fix it they will exchange it or give you a refund.

I have had to file claims over the last few years and Geek Squad has never disappointed. Whether it was replacing a TV remote or a cell phone screen, they got me back up and running in a reasonable amount of time. I buy Geek Squad protection for most of my big Best Buy purchases

This is my second Geek Squad protection plan my TV screen was broke and they replaced it and I purchase another warranty through them they really stand behind their warranties you won't find that anywhere else

This isn't a large screen TV and I wouldn't buy it (or a larger size) for the main viewing area in my house but it works fine for the bedroom for nighttime viewing. It doesn't have as clear a display as my larger Sony but I'm OK with that. I did have to call Visio to get help adjusting the audio settings to work right with my cable provider but now that all settings are correct I no longer have sound issues. For the cost, it was a good purchase.

Definitely worth the money to protect my sons new tv for 5 years. He uses this with his ps5 every single day of his existence. It feels good to sleep at night.

Love how we are protected in case something happens to our purchase.

I love that geek squad helps with everything and if you aren’t satisfied with your situation or product they will make their best to make it better.

My sales person brought my TV to my truck let my seats down and make sure that my TV 75 inch fit in my truck

I replaced an older 50 inch Plasma TV with this Sony 55 inch and was completely amazed at the contrast, sharpness, and color brilliance of this TV. Even my Lady Friend enjoyed it that evening I installed it. The installation was easy as well considering how light it is. Now all I have to do is find more time to watch it!!!

Don't want to have one component go south and leave your whole setup in a lurch, right? Your best bet is to just throw money at the protection plan for each item. Worst case scenario you'll never need it and curse this review for making you spend extra money, but in a pinch? You'll be grateful.

I just love Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection Plan. I never have a hassle when needing to return something. I don't even have to have the receipt. They just look-up my phone number and find everything they need.

Nice to have extra Warranty for items you buy, but the Prices for the Extended Warranty have INCREASED DRAMATICALY.

Worth the money if you spend more than $600 on a TV. Also 55" TV or larger they come to you to fix it.

Joshua from the Geek Squad installed a Bestbuy swivel TV stand and our new LG TV to all our devices and gave us an excellent overview of the operation of our new TV. We highly recommend getting a Geek Squad service plan.
