I always splurge for the 5 year Best Buy Extended Warranty because I sleep better at night knowing that if I have any issue with any of my TV's that are 43 inches and up, which are all of them, that Geek Squad will come out to look at them and take care of any issue other that physical damage caused by neglect etc. Most people are unaware that a one year manufacture warranty means that after the 15,30 or 45th day that one is allowed to return an item for a refund or exchange means that you will be left to deal only with the TV manufacture. I equate that to being on a raft in the middle of the ocean.

Swapped out a bad tv with a new one and delivered promptly!

I purchased the five-year protection plan on our old TV 4 1/2 years ago. With only six months left on the plan, the old TV started losing its connection to the internet and the menus began malfunctioning and didn't respond as intended. After attempting to repair the old TV without success, Geek Squad honored the plan and refunded every dime of the purchase price and also the plan price. How do you beat that? No wonder their Number ONE in customer service and support! Needless to say, I bought a new TV with a new five-years plan.

Easy to add on when picking up my soundbar. This was an open box good purchase so went with the warranty just in case.

Still waiting to take advantage of my geek squad card! But so far I have peace of mind for 5 years on my 83-in LG OLED G4

Always buy the warranty people, always a safe bet and have had no problems with it

Our salesman was very helpful ! I knew what I wanted he pointed out a lot of the features on 75 inch TV. Was in and out of the store in record time .

I actually worked at bestbuy years ago and protection plans were a hard sell, they are extremely expensive and rarely used, but as an ex employee i also saw customers come in and buy their dream TV just to have a storm pop it a week later, or the most memorable story was a child pouring juice all over a tv as the mom was unpacking it. It’s a sad conversation to have when you know someone has been saving for something and it’s gone in seconds and theirs really nothing you can do. It’s like buying your dream car, wrecking it and taking it back to the dealer and asking for another.... I HATE BUYIJG PROTECTION PLANS but I do it every time now. One day one of these plans is going to pay for all of the plans I’ve ever bought.

This is good it’s like insurance for any appliances or technology you buy it’s to protect it in case of damage spills or something going wrong. It covers for the repairs and make it new again that’s so cool and helpful.

I really don't like the idea of needing additional protection beyond the warranty. But, on a HI-Def TV I felt it was best to buy it. The sale rep told me that Best Buy had recently lowered the price of their service plans and it did seem reasonable for five years. Even consumer articles are recommending a protection plan of new TV's with the expense and hassle of getting them repaired under warranty. I was told that to have LG repair it under warranty if needed be sent to them. If it's true of not, I have read that some plans do require you to ship it to them. A TV is too much trouble to attempt this with. In the last 8 years of flat screen ownership I've only needed 1 repair. It was in the last month of the first warranty I'd purchased and was a good experience.

I’ve used my Geek squad service in prior years and the service was well worth it. Inexpensive and you can’t be it

I've purchased all of my electronics, appliances, and cameras from Best Buy. And I not purchase anythings within getting Geek Squad protection because it's the absolute BEST!!! 10/10 I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Our first TV has multiple programs; Best Buy told us we could return it and come in and choose a new TV. TV problems was NOT Best Buy fault. Just one of those Lemons you can get from time to time. They sent Jonathan to our Home from the Geek Squad. We were very satisfied with his Service. Very thorough in explaining operation of our new TV. Feeling confident with the operating of our TV was his Top Priority. (They also take back the other TV that had problems). Best Buy is the place to buy any Electronics because of their Sales People and the Geek Squad, they are all very well trained.

The employee was extremely helpful finding the TV that I had wanted also recommended a warranty that was slightly more expensive but gave more protection for the value ...So overall I am very satisfied thank you

Have gotten geek squad protection in the past for a tv and just before it ran out, my tv started having issues. Best Buy could no longerfix the tv, but they made it right. Absolutely paid dividends

Love having the added security of an extended warranty

I never purchased a Geek Squad protection plan before but boy am I glad that I purchased it on my big screen TV in August 2021. I needed to use the protection plan yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the representative was. He walked me through the entire process and told me that it was actually cheaper to send me a replacement TV. I highly recommend their protection plan and will buy it on any other large items.

I haven’t needed to use the geek squad on this purchase yet. But the geek squad rocks they respond quickly and take care of your problems.
