    Geek Squad protection is awesome. For the large Home Theaters they come out to your home to fix or verify unfixable and they have always been very quick and competent in assisting me with the next step needed. Geek Squad Protection is the best buy I've ever made with you!! Thanks Best Buy.

    I refuse to buy a product over $50 without this. Especially when it comes to tv’s. Most stores only give you a 3-4 year warranty. Best Buy does 5 years and if the tv is over 40”, they will come to you to service it. Can’t beat that. It might be tv’s over 50” these days. Not 100% sure on that part.

    best plan you can buy. Trust me with the way electonics are made now with their useful shelf lives, its best to have extra protection. you will need it

    I bought this to cover the new TV i got at Best Buy. Have used Geek Sq protection plans before on laptops and that always went well. Decided to buy one for the TV because manufacturers today do not make quality products that will last - called planned obsolescence.

    I bought this TV December 31st, 2014. Still works fine. You get what you pay for and I think I got a good deal. You have to fiddle with the settings at first but once you find a configuration you like you're set. It comes with its own presets but I don't care for them. Not mind blowing but its a good picture. I watch 1080 movies and play Xbox 360 (720) and have no complaints. 5 stars if I could access Netflix through the TV. If you're on a budget like me you're getting your monies worth and then some.

    I had geek squad service for my other TV and when that one broke down they were true to their words and traded it in for a newer TV

    Seems like a good service. Covers most of what the manufacturer's warranty too. Not a bad price for what you should be able to get out of it.

    Mix information on power source 110 or 220 or both

    I wanted to send it abroad. On Q&A section Westinghouse confirm that it can run on 220v (Picture attached). I pull the data sheet from Westinghouse website, and it says Power Source AC 100V-240V (Picture attached). On the TV itself it is mentioned 120v (Picture Attached). I called Westinghouse, and they conflict their own information on data sheet and Q&A that it cannot run on 220v. What is true Westinghouse?

    I purchased additional protection to make sure I would have no issues. I was replacing a tv that had only lasted 2 years so this seemed like a great value.

    Warranty For Expensive TV

    We purchased a 65 inch Sony O Led and debated over the 5 year warranty. Since the TV was expensive and had new technology, we decided to go ahead and purchase the 5 year warranty. Hopefully we won't ever need it, but we have peace of mind in case we do. No deductibles either. We feel confident in the plan.

    Though I did not need to use the Geek Squad service during the two year protection plan I chose, the Geek Squad at my local store is vert reliable and have always given me a positive experience. I have had no issues with their service and highly recommend them when help is needed.

    I glad I purchased the additional coverage. It puts me at ease knowing if something goes wrong with the TV, I will be in good hands. I just purchase another TV and soundbar and wireless surround sound speakers today. I purchased coverage on all 3 items. NO worries.

    Geek Squad is great, making an appt is not easy and it was canceled twice, there is no way to just get a new appt time, also language barrier is a problem. But actual techs were prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, thanks to Paul and company!
