I personally have not had to use the protection, but have heard good things about it. According to everyone I have asked, best buy has held up their end of the bargain, take or give a little.

NOthing more important than a best buy protection. YOu don't need to go through all the hazzle to contact local repair.

I purchased the warranty for my 50” LG TV and registered it on line. I doubt I will have to use it but it is a good feeling to know it is there.
